Objective:
In today’s hyper-connected world we can do practically anything through a mobile device—including monitor oilfield equipment. That’s KeyView. It provides real-time data for a workover rig that enables management to better utilize the equipment in the field, minimizing downtime. We wanted to educate and inform the marketplace about the many benefits KeyView provides in an eye-catching, easy-to-understand way.
 
Strategy:
For this project we developed a short video that communicates the product benefits clearly and simply by focusing on the key benefits. From increased safety to increased revenue, we used real data and projections from past jobs to highlight the many benefits of KeyView that matter most to the end user.
 
Implementation:
In the concept development we decided that it was more important to show the end benefits than get into the specific workings of the device. This allowed us to use Cinema 4D graphics to communicate the benefits while still showing the product. We then used illustrations to help show the application at work. In the end, we produced a simple, easy-to-understand video that communicates the many benefits KeyView provides.
 
Results:
Once the video was posted to the corporate website of Key Energy Services the phones began to ring. Demand for more information regarding KeyView rose significantly and continues to rise. Many of the inquiries mention they have viewed the video prior to making the decision to call. More views of the video have equaled more sales of the product.
